the cold front just to the west of us, pittsburgh now 41, detroit at 42. upper peninsula of michigan holding on at 22 degrees. satellite and radar is quiet and dry. here's the frontal system now getting ready to move across the area. once this moves off toward the east, our skies will start to clear. this will happen after midnight or so and then high pressure will build in for the day tomorrow and into the day on monday. however, area of low pressure just to the south of us, that's going to slowly rise toward the north and east. this will happen on monday and into tuesday. but i think it's going to be far enough to the south of us to have little impact on the immediate metro area. here's our forecast for the overnight. gradual clearing. temperatures around 32 to 37 degrees. now tomorrow even though temperatures will be in the upper 40's to lower 50's, it's still above average for this time of year. but sort of a shock to the system compared to what we had today. with temperatures around 70 degrees. here's the extended outlook showing a mild warmup on mond
